I posted in December on how I stock up and save money at Honest Co. by waiting out for their big sales. You can read that post here. I love The Honest Company, but it can be a little pricy, especially their diapers. And I am not one to pay full price for something. Thankfully they occasionally have an awesome sale, and they have another one today!
Yay Earth Day!
So, I thought it would be a good time to update you on the products that I have been trying since getting them here (cute photo of ruby in an honest co. box) And how I plan to utilize this sale.
So, here are my quick reviews on the Honest products that I tried since my last review:
Cleaning Supplies
Multi-Surface Cleaner - I love this! and the grapefruit scent it amazing and fresh. It works well!
Dishsoap - Also a big fan of this. and the suds are out of this world.
Glass cleaner - this smells like vinegar. And I don't really love it.
Fruit & Veggie Wash - Love having this for Ruby!
4-in-1 Packs - Loving these, so easy and they work well!
Oxy Boost - I add one of these to Ruby's clothes and kitchen towels, so easy!
Dryer Cloths - Meh.
Wet Mopping Pads - A little disappointed. They leave suds and residue on the floors.
Diaper Powder - It's diaper powder - not much to say! but, I use it as dry shampoo :)
Conditioning Detangling - I've been using this and it's awesome! Works very well!

What I am excited to try out this time:
Lotion and Soaps in DIFFERENT scents. That was my one complaint in my last review. I don't love the orange, but I am excited to try out some new ones.
We are still working through our stockpile of diapers. I'm pretty sure we will stock up on some items during this sale, but I am not quite sure what we will get yet. The smart choice would be to get diapers and formula.
But, I also have really enjoyed using the cleaning supplies. The sale runs for a couple more days, so maybe I will decide this weekend when I am feeling a little more rested.
I hope to post again either tonight or tomorrow to share about our long week. I'll try to get most of my complaining out before then so it's not to whiny. :)
Best way to save during this sale
The sale that The Honest Company is currently running is a dollar amount off. The most being 40 dollars off of 100 dollars (Use code earth40 at check out). So, it's best to not spend over 100 dollars.

I've mentioned before that the best way to save is to get a bundle.
So for example this time, I may get a diaper bundle, which is 80 dollars. You already save 35 percent getting a bundle. And then with the bundle you can get almost any other three items 25 percent off. So, I may get a can of formula, or a few cleaning supplies.
Sometimes this can be tricky when initially purchasing the bundle. So if the 25 percent isn't showing up off you additional items you can chat with customer service. They helped me the last time I made a purchase.
I'm also thinking about just getting the essentials bundle this time, which is 35 dollars, and stocking up on my favorites. The best way to save with the essentials bundle is to bundle the more expensive items, like my favorite 4-in1 packs, healing balm, dish towels, and then use the add-on feature to save 25 percent off of the cheaper items like the dishsoap or cleaning sprays. But, be sure to spend 50 so that you can save 20 dollars! :)
And don't forget that the bundles are a subscription, so if you don't want it again make sure to call and cancel. The customer service is really great. They have even pushed back my bundle by six months, so that I have time to work through my stock pile.

You can also get 2.5 percent cash back by using Ebates. Ebates is really easy to use!It's just a website! Sign up here to create an account and from there visit any store that you want to shop from their list, like Honest Company or Gap. (They have almost any store that you shop at, I promise!) I have made quite a bit of money just by stopping by Ebates first and clicking on the site I want to purchase something.It's not a scam, I promise, It's just really awesome.
If you're not currently using Ebates, you need to be!! I recently just added the ebates button to my web browser and now I never forget to get cashback.
