antelope canyon

We flew into Phoenix, Arizona last week late Friday night and woke up the next morning to head north to Page, Arizona. We weren't quite sure if we would make it out to Antelope Canyon or not, but I am so glad we decided to make the trip to Northern Arizona. Antelope Canyon was crazy beautiful, but it does look much cooler in photos. It's something about how the light bounces around the canyon that a camera can pick up so much better.
In reality, the canyon is pretty dark in most places. So, that is why a lot of these photos are a little grainy and some blurry. It was still such a treat to visit such a unique place and we're so grateful for our trip here.
The only way you can get to Antelope Canyon is on a paid tour. It was definitely worth it, as we drove right up to the canyon and our tour guide was really informative and also took some great photos of our family.
Well, I hope you enjoy these photos! I have so many, and even narrowed it down for you! :)
Ruby waved at everything and everyone.
Our tour guide had us hold up this flashlight to look like a giant flame, haha

i have many photos just like this one. this girl loves to ride on here papa's shoulders.
This is a really cool area of Arizona and we really enjoyed Antelope Canyon. I will say that I think I hyped it up a little and the photos look way cooler than in person. So, just keep that in mind if you visit.
It's still really awesome and crazy that wind and water created and formed this canyon. You can see all kinds of stories in the lines in the walls of the canyon.
