jordan and i love our new house. we really liked our bloomington home but, this just feels like a home. it has character, the floor squeaks and it's in a great neighborhood. my favorite parts about our house are the wood floors, white walls and molding. i am just now getting around to hanging things on the walls, because they didn't really need them because of all of details the house already has. it's a big contrast from new newly built apartment we lived in before.
so, here are some photos of our house i snapped on the day we moved in! i had the best intentions to take good photos before we moved in. but, in the nature of moving, I didn't know where my camera was and was getting some looks from jordan as I pranced around our new home taking photos with my iphone as they immediately began lugging in our stuff. alas, i have some blurry and grainy iphone photos.

this is our bedroom, pretty roomy and there are two closets to the left which you can see a little better in the photo below. closets are hard to come by in older homes so we were pretty happy having two in our bedroom.
when i was looking at this house i fell in love with the claw foot tub. duh. we've had to be creative when making places for storage in here.
i adore our kitchen! just look at the light coming in!
this little mudroom is really nice because there isn't much room for storage in the downstairs. 
above it part of the dining room and showing some of the loving room. the door under the stairs actually leads to a little bathroom. we lovingly call it the harry potter bathroom.
above is our dining room, we almost didn't know what to do with all if the space, and below are photos of the living room. the fireplace unfortunately doesn't work, but it is beautiful.
