we pushed through the tiredness, but you can see it our faces above, and had a lovely weekend. 

we're doing ok over here and we're just plowing through these tough months. so, this monday, after a hard week of nights, feels pretty good. only 3 weeks and life will calm down a little.

my sleep is awful when jordan is not home. in just having him home last night & getting a full nights sleep, i feel like a new person. 

today, i am working on taking care of myself and Ruby and doing it well. Which means yoga, drinking blackberry and kale smoothies, and oatmeal. and lots of playing, of course. we will be heading to the pool later after her nap.

also, i am working hard on staying positive over here. if you were to ask me how I am doing, I would probably give a pause before answering. maybe let out a little sigh. i'd probably smile and say 'good' because, i don't really know what else to say. we're doing well, it's just taking a little more effort than normal.
jordan hardly got a day off this past week. his day off was technically yesterday, but he worked the night before and went in again this morning. and had to fit some sleep in there. there's a full 24 hours in-between so they count it. despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed and made the most of our time of his 'day off'. (and only mild amounts of grumbling ensued)

anyway, if you're going through something similar, let me know and we can go through it together. my best friends here are the ones who are walking through this crazy season with me. 

and if you haven't noticed, i kind of like mondays over here. maybe because it's the only day i'm actually aware of, the rest of the week starts to blend together. (ok, i'm starting to sound depressing, lighthearted posts coming your way tomorrow)
