art hill in may

On the second of May, Jordan had a Monday off. We love taking advantage of his midweek days off and going to St. Louis. Forest Park is one of our favorites and we had it to ourselves. On this particular day, we were headed to the art museum since we hadn't been since last summer. Unfortunately we arrived and realized they aren't open on Mondays. But, we made the best of our trip over to Forrest Park and took a walk and played with Ruby on Art Hill, and then visited the history museum.
This park is beautiful and stretches on for miles. It was really fun to see it in Spring. Everything is so green and new. Jordan and I talk often about what area we would move to if we wanted to live in St. Louis. We always mention how we want to live close to here. Obviously, we're not moving to St. Louis, it's just a fun game we like to play.
just a ruby and her papa, flying and scaling walls
working on that walking skill!
mama's turn!
time to take a little break and eat some grass
somehow black and white always transforms blurry photos
This was our first time at the history museum and as you will see below, my favorite part was the building itself. Well, the older part, the photo above it part of the addition. We were a little too late for the kids part, so we hope to visit again.
So many good photos from this day, so kudos to you if you made it through all of them! :)
Anyone else missing these spring days now that it's starting to feel more like summer?
