okay... i hinted about it here, gave a preview here, and it started here, so now i present the photos from the meadow! i loved this hidden meadow amongst the mountains, this is what we hiked to and it was worth it. i apologize for the overload of photos, but you should really see how many there actually were. enjoy these and jen and i frolicking in the field.
cody, the guy in this post (well, you can see his back of his head in a few photos) took the photos of jen and i, i love when people take a lot of photos... thanks for doing that, cody! and jen took the ones of just me, way to capture the light, jen! what a fun afternoon! and don't worry, i still have more from colorado! an entirely different hike!
one of the days of our advent calendar was to grab coffee walk around downtown bloomington, the heart of the downtown, 'the square', is beautifully dressed in lights for the season. i love how they wrap each branch of the trees, don't they look almost magical? be prepared, these photos were taken on my phone... but they still capture this evening well.
it was a fun evening of chinese checkers, coffee, and lights. if you ever are wanting to check out bloomington this blog has a great guide on bloomington. (also my mother just sent me her photos from christmas, and our tree is still up... so we will still be celebrating over here!)
here are some more photos from the hike we did in colorado, more photos in this post. it was a great hike because we started at a higher elevation, so the views were great and we didn't have to work too hard to get there. it was very beautiful. the best part of the hike i will share soon, where we stumbled upon this beautiful meadow, which is where this photo was taken. get excited. but, for now enjoy these photos...
we found this old cabin in the middle of our hike, in the middle of a meadow.
