more photos from steve and lexi's wedding!! i can't believe that it has already been so long, they have almost been married for two months! (i will make it my new years resolution to organize my photos faster!) here are some photos of us and our friends... i will share the photos of steve and lexi and their wedding soon!
remember when i posted that picture from brown county? well, here are some more photos from our hike into the little smokies. i wished the trees still looked like this, the colors and life. if you live near the area and haven't been to this wonderful state park you should definitely check it out! especially when winter is taking it's time to arrive.
we had such a great time exploring the forrest, especially with little evie. i love finding beautiful places so close to home. i was just in colorado looking at real mountains, but looking back at these picture reminded me that i have something just as great here. maybe not as tall, but still pretty good.
p.s. did you notice some hunger games action going on in one of those photos? |
i'm pretty positive that getting the mail is high on the list of jordan's favorite activities. everyday he comes home and grabs the key that hangs out by the door and heads out to get the mail, i often have to run out after him, because the way he gets excited about it makes me think that i might miss something if i don't go.
two more things to note: jordan gets upset every time i put away his "getting the mail" shoes. he also once wrote a note saying that he was the only one allowed to get the mail in our house.
fall is the time when i look for every opportunity i can to make soup, if it was solely up to me i could have it every day and every season (i'm the person that eats hot soup on a summer day), fall is the time when i can get away with making it a couple of times a week. it's so easy. cut up some veggies and throw them in a pot and see what happens. i love when i don't need a recipe to make something, but can just cook based on what i want at that moment.
