Remember when Indianapolis was covered with a foot of snow this past January? After we arrived back from our two week holiday we were greeted with another week of playing in this beautiful snowstorm. These photos were taken a couple hours before we lost power and made the trek to Jordan's sisters house. Luckily for us we had warm chili on the stove and homemade bread to take with us. It's fun to think back on this now that it's almost June and ninety degrees outside.
here's to you spring.
here's to to airing out my boots, to green grass, to cleaning garden beds, to dresses and no pants, to bike rides, to opening windows, to iced tea, to daylight. and most of all, listening to happy music with the windows down. i love you and have missed you dearly.
i'm glad your back,

look at us. newlyweds opening presents after our honeymoon. this is my current side project. instead of editing and posting new photos, i am compiling memories from our first years of marriage into a book. also, you're not missing out much on these past few winter months. but, just in case you were interested... i watched all of one tree hill on netflix, drank many moscow mules, ate out too many times, and i am really having a hard time coming up with anything else. that's embarrassing.
I'm Katelyn, a creative who finds beauty in the little things. I like the windows open and vases filled with flowers. I photograph and write about the mostly small but sometimes big adventures we find in our daily lives.
And this is my sweet, sweet family. My favorite person, Jordan and our little Ruby.
