I'm just posting photos from our Arizona trip as I edit them, and today I have some from our dinner at Shakeshack and a Reds spring training game! This was such a fun evening. I don't have many photos from this evening, but here are a few.
Jordan so kindly wrote out an itinerary to post to make it less confusing, I'll try to post that this week!

Ruby loves the Reds so much she wanted to go to one of there spring training games, that's why we went to Arizona. I think she may be their next mascot.

cathedral rock | Sedona, AZ

We stopped through Sedona on our way back to Phoenix from Page, Arizona. We were hoping to have more time in Sedona, but had so much fun driving to Utah hiking to the toadstools. We also spent quite a bit of time discussing where we should go to lunch. (jordan won)

On our drive to Sedona we knew we would only have enough daylight for one thing. We researched on the drive and decided our one thing would be to hike cathedral rock. I think we picked very well.

It's so funny how Ruby is just staring at the camera in these photos. haha

It ended up being so perfect at the top as we were there right as the sun was setting. We had a little bit of time to rest and to take in the views. There's just something about the red rock and the warm sun, it was crazy beautiful.

This looks so scary! But, the ledge continues on the other side even though it looks like they could plummet any second, yikes!!

Ruby couldn't quite make it through the entire hike. This girl used to fall asleep in her ergo in a second, but I guess we haven't used it as much in the winter.

It's really funny that each time we've visited Sedona it's been just for a couple hours passing through. We really would like to take the time to properly explore it someday. It's just so busy. I guess it the crowds that draw us away for the most part. But, this time it didn't seem as busy.

pool day in phoenix and an orange tree

We were able to get out in the sun and in a pool a couple times while we were in Phoenix. This was earlier in the week, and it was still a bit chilly. Thankfully we were at a heated pool and just stayed in the water most of the time.
Ruby loved everything about swimming. We knew she would. This girl knows how to have fun. She couldn't get enough of splashing and kicking her feet trying to swim.
I'd say this was her first real time actually in a pool. She was still a newborn this past summer, and she did get in the water a little, but not quite like this!

I'm still a little upset that we don't have an abundance of citrus trees here. The first morning we were there Jordan picked us a grapefruit and orange off a tree. What a dream.

Here our our dear friends who hosted us while we were were visiting them in Phoenix. So, so thankful for their amazing hospitality and making this trip happen. you guys are the best.
